PKD JOY - READY FOR TAKE OFF ! Easy air borning, forgiving flight behaviour and a big speed range combined with excellent performance - impossible? This was the standard answer when asking for a beginner kite.....until now. PKD set to work on the task and developed the JOY with exactly these characteristics. Relating on the expertise in paraglider technology PKD reduced the aspect ratio, increased the profile depth, incorporated the well proven V-rib technology to minimize the number of bridle attachement points and fine tuned the result to achive the perfect solution... the JOY. The JOY comes with NCV Porcher New Skytex Nylon 6.6 and covered/sewed Cousin 1.1mm aramid bridle lines. The material selection and build quality are to the same high standards as paraglider wings. For improoving flight character in rainy conditions or on wet surfaces, the famous "LOTOS effect" fabric will be selected for all JOYs! Available sizes are 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.5m². 7.0 and 9.0m² will fly soon. JOY - keep your style
